A 46-year-old man has died in hospital after being involved in an accident with a motorcycle outside Bukit Batok Bus Depot late on Dec 5.
According to a Facebook post by SG Road Vigilante, the accident occurred around 11:20pm on Bukit Batok Street 23 towards Bukit Batok East Avenue 6. The police confirmed they were alerted to the accident involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian at that time.

The pedestrian was unconscious when taken to hospital, where he later died. The 27-year-old male motorcyclist was taken conscious to hospital. SCDF confirmed that one person was conveyed to National University Hospital and another to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. Police investigations are ongoing.
Video footage showing the aftermath of the accident revealed two ambulances at the scene, with a motorcycle lying near the kerb. One paramedic could be seen performing CPR.
The video was provided by a private-hire driver who was driving two passengers from Tan Tock Seng Hospital to Bukit Batok. In the video, the passengers can be heard saying they are doctors and can help. Two people are then seen alighting from the vehicle and rushing to the accident scene to render assistance.
Very tragic accident sia. Condolences to the family of the deceased. At least there were medical professionals nearby who could help immediately. This is also a reminder for all road users – whether drivers, riders or pedestrians – to always stay alert and be careful on the roads.
