Privacy Policy

This Notice (“Notice”) sets out the basis on which Truly SG (“we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data of our customers in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”). This Notice applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data in the possession of organizations which we have engaged or have engaged us to collect, use, disclose or process personal data for our purposes.

1. As used in this Notice:

“customer” refers to an individual who (a) has contacted us through any means to find out more about any goods or services we provide, or (b) may, or has, entered into a contract with us for the supply of any goods or services by us; and

“personal data” refers to data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which an organisation has or is likely to have access. Personal data is collected through forms, online interactions, social media platforms, websites or transactions with us. Information collected can include but is not limited to name, identification number, contact details, demographic information, preferences and payment details.

2. Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, some examples of personal data which we may collect from you include name, residential address, email address, telephone number, nationality, gender, date of birth, marital status, employment information and financial information.

3. Other terms used in this Notice shall have the meanings given to them in the PDPA (where the context so permits).

Consent & Data Collection

4. By interacting with our website, submitting forms or providing personal data, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, retention, and processing (“Use”) of your personal data by us and our third-party service providers, agents, consultants and other organisations we have engaged or authorized for the purposes indicated below and for communicating information about such parties, including their programmes, products and services through the contacts that you have provided. You agree that your personal data may be Used by such parties in accordance with their terms and personal data policies. You also confirm the accuracy of the information provided and, where you have furnished personal data of other individuals, that you have obtained their consent.

5. We may collect and use your personal data for any or all of the following purposes:

- performing obligations in the course of or in connection with our provision of goods and/or services requested by you;
- any other purposes for which you have provided the information;
- transmitting to any unaffiliated third parties including our third-party service providers and agents, and relevant governmental and/or regulatory authorities, whether in Singapore or abroad, for the aforementioned purposes.

6. We may disclose your personal data to third-party service providers, agents, consultants and other organisations we have engaged or authorized whether in Singapore or abroad to perform functions listed above.

Withdrawal of Consent

7. The consent that you provide will remain valid until withdrawn by you in writing. Submit requests to our Data Protection Officer at the contact details below.

8. We will require reasonable time to process your request and notify you of consequences, generally within seven (7) business days.

9. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide services to you, and we will notify you accordingly. Note that withdrawal does not affect lawful collection, use or disclosure without consent.

Access To And Correction of Personal Data

10. Submit access or correction requests in writing to our Data Protection Officer.

11. A reasonable fee may apply for access requests. We will respond within seven (7) business days, or inform you if more time is needed (up to 30 days).

Protection of Personal Data

12. We use appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures to safeguard your personal data, disclosing it only on a need-to-know basis. However, no Internet transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Accuracy of Personal Data

13. Please update us of changes to your personal data via our Data Protection Officer.

Retention of Personal Data

14. We retain personal data only as necessary for the purposes collected or as required by law, then securely delete or anonymize it.
