Three in five bosses in Singapore planning to freeze hiring next year. SNEF survey say 58 percent don’t intend to hire in 2026, up from 50 percent this year. Around 240 employers responded, and more than 70 percent expect next year to be even more uncertain.

Almost half planning wage moderation or freezes. Even those giving increments will give smaller ones. But 96 percent will still raise pay for lower wage workers.
