Loan sharks harass Yishun resident with bags of cement, funeral wreaths, and God of Wealth ‘advertisement’

Yishun got another drama again. This time loan sharks go all out to tekan one resident until sibeh overboard.

The man, a 42 year old delivery rider, said he borrowed 8k from illegal moneylenders earlier this year and already paid back. But the syndicate still hound him, ask for extra 10k somemore.

Their harassment methods quite power — send bags of cement to his house, send funeral wreaths, even paste a fake God of Wealth ad at his block’s lift lobby with his address and number, like want to publicly shame him.

He say his father was the one who spotted the poster and called him. Police came, removed everything, and now investigating.

The man told reporters he is very stressed, feel guilty that his wife and kids kena dragged into this whole mess. He also installed CCTV at his door to protect his family.

Hope the authorities catch the syndicate fast lah, this kind of harassment too much already.
