Singapore’s Consulate-General in Johor Bahru is moving to a new location at Mid Valley Southkey from Dec 10.
The current office at Johor Bahru City Square Office Tower will remain open until Dec 9. After that, Singaporeans needing consular assistance in JB will need to head to the new location instead.
The new address is:
Level 29, MVS South Tower, Mid Valley Southkey
No. 1 Persiaran Southkey 1,
Southkey, 80150 Johor Bahru, Johor
Operating hours will remain the same – Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. The Consulate-General will be closed on weekends and public holidays.

The City Square location’s phone line +60 7-226-5012 will only work until Dec 9.
The current City Square tower location is just across the street from the Johor Bahru CIQ building. In contrast, the new location at the popular Mid Valley Southkey mall will be slightly further away – about a 10-minute drive from customs.
The JB Consulate-General’s mission is to facilitate interaction and cooperation between Singapore and Johor. It also provides consular services for Singaporeans living, working, or visiting Johor, and processes visa applications for foreign nationals entering Singapore.
So if you’re planning any weekend trips to JB and need consular services, take note of the new location lah! The mall location might actually be more convenient for some people since Mid Valley Southkey is quite a popular shopping destination.
