Now she help Mae Tao Clinic in Mae Sot fix their emergency workflow. Clinic patient numbers double since 2021 coup, hit 130,000 a year.
She say last time the place like empty slate. No proper emergency space, no X-ray, patients sometimes wait two days before referral. Now she plan new Emergency Care Unit, aim cut waiting time to two or three hours. Got Burmese doctors join her team, plus SingHealth also come help design the building and train medics to use ultrasound.


Dr Tiah say working there less pressure cooker, more meaningful. Her team all Myanmar doctors whose careers kena interrupted by conflict. She hope this project help them find normalcy again. She say seeing them grow and helping the clinic level up, that one make her most fulfilled.
