Local TikToker stir up drama again. Rachel Fan, aka @rachellovingly, called yoga “demonic” after quitting the practice she did for nine years, saying the moves are actually Hindu worship. Clips of her post went viral, racking up 28k+ views and sparking backlash for “disrespecting Hindus.”
Other TikTokers pushed back, saying calling yoga “demonic” misrepresents the practice and disrespects Singapore’s Hindu community. Taoist creator @Qztaoism joked about the hype, pointing out debates over “pagan” origins often get blown out of proportion. Some users defended yoga as harmless exercise, only meditation invoking kundalini energy was “demonic”.
